DINING OUT TOGETHER
Mark and I went to a family friendly seafood restaurant. We both had the fresh fish, mine grilled and Mark's was battered. Huge meals with chips and salad as well. Couldn't finish it all but it was delicious.
Here is the sketch:

It's Cyber Crop time at Mystical Scrapbooks. Each Designer has a sketch for you to play with that has one embellishment type as an added criteria. Mine is ribbon.
Here is my sketch. It's a double. It's taken it from the October 2011 Page Maps. I like the big circle. You can see how I've altered it to suit my photos below.
Here is my take on it.
From the Shop at Mystical I have used the following:
white and purple cardstock
Cosmo Cricket Pixie-Licious/bloomin babies pp
Fancy Pants Memories Captured/Strips pp/ephemera pack and button set
Echo Park Springtime sticker sheet
Kaisercraft 13th Hour sticker alphas
MME Lime Tiwst Our of the Blue "Family" accessories sheet
Flourish With A Bling Jasmine, lilac
green and white striped ribbon
Here is my take on it. I love working with circles. So much fun. Tracey's extra criteria is bling.
Products used from Mystical shop:
various cardstock colours, used circle punches and cutting system
Basic Grey Lime Rickey/Rob Roy pp
Ki Memories School days/monkey bars pp
jillibean soup diced denim alphas
Basic Grey knee highs and bow ties sticker
Flourish With A Bling Grace, Pearl
MME Lime Twist Our of the Blue "Playful" alphas
Jane's extra criteria was flowers.
Products used from the Mystical Scrapbook's shop:
Fancy Pants Memories Captured pp
Jillibean Soup Yellow salt pp
Kaisercraft black min i paper bloom and deep yellow rhinestones
Pink Paislee Hey Kid element stickers
Twiddleybitz musical notes chipbaord
Prima dollhouse collection velvet flower
I went with a cream and pink colour scheme. I used my CM CCS circles. I've used one piece of paper. The piece I have journalled on is the piece I've cut from the inside of the circle framing the photo. Happily it had lines and I wanted to do a lot of storytelling.
Thanks for looking.
I hope you all had time to create on the weekend. It was National Scrapbooking Day here in Australia on Saturday and the Northern hemisphere yesterday. I managed to create one page in my very hectic weekend.
Yesterday I made this page for one of the Studio Calico challenges, NSD5, which had a few sketches. I chose the first one, which you can see below.
I saw this amazing artist at work on a wall in Fremantle last year. It was so intricate. He would step back and stare for a while and then walk forward and do a bit more.
This is May's challenge inspiration picture, plus you must use mists.
I chose a row of chipboard houses by Dusty Attic and painted them. I misted on the white cardstock background with two Mr Huey's inks on a 6x6 Prima template.
Have you been to Sovereign Hill in Ballarat, Victoria? The photo was taken there. The colours were right and it had little pointy roofed buildings in it. I took it in the morning and the sky was all misty.
Hope you can join in with this challenge. Just add your entry to the InLinkz at Archi-scraps.
