Somewhat unbelievably, our new PC has been taken back to the shop it came from for repairs - to the power supply.  I am typing on our laptop, not my favourite thing. The keys are all too close together and I am an expert typist, very fast, not on this thing. It makes me feel like a beginner. Stooopid machine.

Happily, I am back into my happy scrapping. Have done 8 layouts in the last 24 hours. Go me!

Righto, the word is out so I can share now.

I'm a newly appointed Design Team member of SCRAP OF YOUR LIFE.  I can't put into words how happy I am about this. Insert cheering here.

The fun is about to begin.

Ooooh, I got some very exciting news this morning. Can't share yet. Watch this space.

It's a hot one

I've been in the front garden this morning. I pulled out several plants that were not thriving, therefore looking quite tatty.

I've transplanted my red frangipani plant into the space left by the crap plants. It looks very nice. I hope it now takes hold and flowers more regularly. I then repotted another plant into the frangipani's pot, a ficus. Pleased with my  morning's efforts.

Looking, looking

I'm still looking for a design team position. Hopefully something will come along soon. Would love some good challenges.

I'm trying to think up a good way to store all of my scrapbooking gear. It seems the only solution is a piece of furniture. The rest of the room is made up of mahogany pieces so this could be an expensive exercise.

Her Time

I'm off to Riverview Church today to meet up with my friend Sophia who I've known since we were teenagers. It's a Her Time meeting. Lots of ladies.

Tea on the Town

I'm doing well this week.

Yesterday I ran into an old friend in the Titles Office and we went and had a cup of tea together at Reveleys. He paid.

Today I met a friend at the Coffee Club for a cup of tea and was able to use a voucher I had won, so therefore no payment.

Tomorrow I'm going to Riverview Church for a Her Time session where someone else will make me a cup of tea, I'm sure the price is included in the $7 admission.

Mum is coming over on Friday morning so won't have to drink my cup of tea alone.

All in all, quite a good week.

Tuesday morning

Hah, I'm blogging 2 days in a row, what do you know?
Have given up on locating my birth certificate and have to make a trip into town to obtain a new one today.  Crazy. Everything is coming due over the next month.
Boys are safely off to School. Now I need to find some motivation.

Monday morning

What an early start to the week! Mark has his first ensemble session at School today, starting at 7:30pm. Damon and Paul also needed to leave at this time. Mark plays violin. I have been looking forward to him playing with other instruments. Ensemble features years 5 to 7, cello and violin players. He will get a chance to perform with them at School events and other opportunities as they crop up.

Hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day. Ours was quiet. It was so hot yesterday, 37 degrees. Had a nice swim in the pool.

Big Boy

Damon has started High School. I cannot believe my little boy is now in high school. Wow. I've been helping him learn how to use public transport. He seems to be thriving at Perth Modern School and I'm very pleased with how he is coping so far. Fingers crossed it all keeps on being a good experience.
